Kate O Group Etsy Store is open!

After spending the summer having a blast creating custom invitations for my sister’s wedding showers, wedding and my cousin’s baby shower, I decided I wanted to design some Christmas & Thank You cards too and the best way to get them out there would be to utilize an Etsy Store.  This is my first time to use Etsy as a platform to sell anything; until now all I’ve done is use Etsy to find fun things to buy!

Right now I only have 4 items up for sale in my Etsy Store.

Holiday Photo Cards

We recently had the opportunity to partner with the UPS store of Highland Park to create Holiday Photo Cards.  There are approximately 40 designs for you to choose from and add your own photo to customize.  You can stop in the store to look through the catalog of designs or you can browse it online just click on the image below.

The photo cards are sold in increments of 25 and the price includes envelopes.  The UPS Store in Highland Park has made customizing your Holiday Greetings, simple and quick!  They’ve also got some other great promotional items you can order for clients and can also help you customize items for any holiday parties you may be throwing.

Kate O Lynch Personal Blog

I started blogging back in December of 2008 as  Kate O Lynch, but haven’t always been faithful about keeping it up to date.  At the beginning of this year I decided to give my personal blog a facelift.  This time around I wanted a layout with a functional sidebar and this was just what I wanted.

I was also excited to add an Instagram gallery to the sidebar.  Instagram is one of my favorite iPhone apps, so bringing it to my blog was perfect.

The blog focuses on books, wine, restaurants around Dallas and recipes.  As you can see there is quite a variety, but those are all the things I love.  You can also follow along with the progress of my recently self-published novel Creative Chaos on the blog.

Creative Chaos Cover Artwork

Creative Chaos has been several years in the making.  It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember to write a book.  Creating the cover artwork for my book was a lot of fun.  To read a little more about how I chased after this dream click here.

This book is now available from my personal website in iBook, Nook and PDF forms with the Kindle version coming very shortly!

Ever since I finished this design, I can’t stop staring at it!  I know I’m biased but I think it turned out really good!

Desired Escapes

Having the opportunity to design the Desired Escapes website is proof that Social Media does work!  A friend of the owner’s tweeted that a friend was in need of a free lance web designer and we answered that tweet.  Take one look at the site and you’ll know why designing this site was a challenge, we just wanted to be on vacation at one of the gorgeous properties the whole time!
