I started blogging back in December of 2008 as  Kate O Lynch, but haven’t always been faithful about keeping it up to date.  At the beginning of this year I decided to give my personal blog a facelift.  This time around I wanted a layout with a functional sidebar and this was just what I wanted.

I was also excited to add an Instagram gallery to the sidebar.  Instagram is one of my favorite iPhone apps, so bringing it to my blog was perfect.

The blog focuses on books, wine, restaurants around Dallas and recipes.  As you can see there is quite a variety, but those are all the things I love.  You can also follow along with the progress of my recently self-published novel Creative Chaos on the blog.

Having the opportunity to design the Desired Escapes website is proof that Social Media does work!  A friend of the owner’s tweeted that a friend was in need of a free lance web designer and we answered that tweet.  Take one look at the site and you’ll know why designing this site was a challenge, we just wanted to be on vacation at one of the gorgeous properties the whole time!
