Tristrand Therapy ABA Branding & Website Design

Creating a compelling brand identity is important for any business, and for Tristrand Therapy, a provider of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, this process was particularly significant. Their logo and website needed to reflect their mission of empowering individuals, equipping families, and enabling success.

It’s no accident that their mission is made up of three goals, which is reflected in both their name and branding.

From the start of the brand design process I knew the color scheme we were using. The client loved the combination of blue, green and orange. The design for the ABA branding had endless possibilities. The final logo design initially started out like this:

Brand Design for Nonprofit: Harmony Scholarship Foundation

This brand design for Nonprofit Harmony Scholarship Foundation also included the design and development of a WordPress website.

Harmony Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2022 with the goal of closing the gap in education for refugee students.

The name Harmony is the founder’s grandmother’s name. A harmony is made up of four parts and I used the theme of four in several of the initial concept designs. Green was the color we were going to feature so I incorporated a variety of greens.

Ultimately the client settled on design option one and the final brand design consisted of the primary logo, a secondary logo, alternate logo marks, and an icon or submark.

Nonprofit WordPress Website Design

The Harmony Scholarship Foundation website is built on WordPress. The purpose of the website is to spread the word about the foundation, to highlight the scholars and to give others the opportunity to partner and support Harmony Scholarship Foundation.

Simply Noted: Branding and ECommerce Web Design

Simply Noted is a KateOGroup company that sells custom invitations, holiday cards and t-shirt designs. To hear the story behind where the name came from, read this post. This project includes both Branding and Ecommerce Web Design.

Custom Branding Design

This custom branding design project includes hand drawn elements and lettering. The color palette is neutral so that the logo will compliment any product design and not distract from it.

The Simply Noted branding package needed to include a variety of elements to be used across digital and printed formats. Because a majority of Simply Noted’s product are cards and invitations utilizing the hand drawn gardenia on a postage stamp design seemed like the perfect compliment to this branding design.

ECommerce Web Design

Following the Simply Noted branding design, it is time for the ECommerce Web Design portion of the project. This website is built on the WordPress platform and utilizes WooCommerce for the ECommerce portion of the website.

The goal of the website design for Simply Noted is an easy and seamless shopping experience for everyone who visits the site. Because the majority of all website traffic is on mobile devices, ensuring that both the desktop and mobile experience is the best they can be is KateOGroup’s top priority. Easy navigation was also an essential element of this design.

Real Estate Branding and Website Design: House and Home

Real estate branding for House and Home Real Estate was completed prior to the website design.

Kathy Corey is a realtor and broker in North Texas. She launched her own brokerage in 2017. For the design she wanted a clean logo and her one request was that we work a dragonfly into the design.

First step is always gathering design inspiration:

The color palette was a beautiful combination of navy and lime green. The navy represents sophistication while the green brings in a sense of fun. The combination of fonts is a continuation of this combination of formal and comfort.

Real Estate Branding

The final design includes both a handwritten font and a serif font. The serif font ads structure while the handwritten font adds relatability to the logo design. The little detail of the dragonfly can be included or omitted depending on where and when the logo is being used.

We incorporated the dragonfly into the business card design and the listing signs. How fabulous does this yard sign look?
