Tristrand Therapy ABA Branding & Website Design

Creating a compelling brand identity is important for any business, and for Tristrand Therapy, a provider of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, this process was particularly significant. Their logo and website needed to reflect their mission of empowering individuals, equipping families, and enabling success.

It’s no accident that their mission is made up of three goals, which is reflected in both their name and branding.

From the start of the brand design process I knew the color scheme we were using. The client loved the combination of blue, green and orange. The design for the ABA branding had endless possibilities. The final logo design initially started out like this:

Once the logo was finalized the WordPress website design got underway. During the website design process I created a few additional branding elements. Check them out below:

Brand Design for Nonprofit: Harmony Scholarship Foundation

This brand design for Nonprofit Harmony Scholarship Foundation also included the design and development of a WordPress website.

Harmony Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2022 with the goal of closing the gap in education for refugee students.

The name Harmony is the founder’s grandmother’s name. A harmony is made up of four parts and I used the theme of four in several of the initial concept designs. Green was the color we were going to feature so I incorporated a variety of greens.

Ultimately the client settled on design option one and the final brand design consisted of the primary logo, a secondary logo, alternate logo marks, and an icon or submark.

Nonprofit WordPress Website Design

The Harmony Scholarship Foundation website is built on WordPress. The purpose of the website is to spread the word about the foundation, to highlight the scholars and to give others the opportunity to partner and support Harmony Scholarship Foundation.

Sligh Homes, a coastal North Carolina custom home builder, was recently featured on HGTV. They recently shifted from remodels and building to focus on building custom homes and needed a new website.

The goal for the Sligh Homes WordPress Website Design was to showcase Sligh Homes work throughout coastal North Carolina. Owner Corey Sligh has been in the industry for nearly two decades.

We knew the Sligh Homes website needed to include a gallery or portfolio so that visitors to the website could easily view his current and past custom home building projects. As they complete more projects we will organize the portfolio by albums for each completed project.

Because Sligh Homes has so many projects currently in progress we also wanted to have a place for those on the website. Incorporating the current projects on their own gallery style page by project.

The Dash Custom Homes Website design has a layout that keeps the focus on the homes built by Dash Custom Homes. We truly wanted this website to showcase all of the beautiful homes by Dash Custom Homes.

Located just outside of Austin, TX, Dash Custom Homes builds throughout the surrounding Texas Hill Country. At Dash Custom Homes, each and every home is constructed with a combination of careful craftsmanship and passionate design. This provides an individualized experience in creating your home. Each Dash Custom Home is so unique and custom. I really want anyone who visits the site to feel like they are actually walking through the homes as they look through the gallery.

The element I love most on this website is that a different room or home is featured at the top of each page throughout the website.

This simple and clean website design allows the photos and homes to really stand out without any distractions. I could scroll through these photos endlessly. I have yet to see any home designs I haven’t fallen in love with and am confident you’ll feel the same way.

Simply Noted: Branding and ECommerce Web Design

Simply Noted is a KateOGroup company that sells custom invitations, holiday cards and t-shirt designs. To hear the story behind where the name came from, read this post. This project includes both Branding and Ecommerce Web Design.

Custom Branding Design

This custom branding design project includes hand drawn elements and lettering. The color palette is neutral so that the logo will compliment any product design and not distract from it.

The Simply Noted branding package needed to include a variety of elements to be used across digital and printed formats. Because a majority of Simply Noted’s product are cards and invitations utilizing the hand drawn gardenia on a postage stamp design seemed like the perfect compliment to this branding design.

ECommerce Web Design

Following the Simply Noted branding design, it is time for the ECommerce Web Design portion of the project. This website is built on the WordPress platform and utilizes WooCommerce for the ECommerce portion of the website.

The goal of the website design for Simply Noted is an easy and seamless shopping experience for everyone who visits the site. Because the majority of all website traffic is on mobile devices, ensuring that both the desktop and mobile experience is the best they can be is KateOGroup’s top priority. Easy navigation was also an essential element of this design.
